Ray Harryhausen in the UK: Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger

1977 brought with it Ray Harryhausen's penultimate feature, and the last in his trilogy of Sinbad films: Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger.

The creatures on offer this time are a baboon (who turns out to be a prince under a curse), a mechanical "Minoton", three insect-like monsters, a large hornet, a giant walrus (surely a singularity in the annals of cinema?) a caveman-like "Troglodyte" and, finally, a giant sabre-toothed tiger.

The baboon is worth a special mention, being one of the few instances where a Harryhausen creation can be counted amongst the main characters of a film.
